ZION NATIONAL PARK - NOVEMBER 4th - 6th

​Dear Members & friends,
 
   It's time again for our yearly trip to beautiful Zion in Springdale Utah. (3hrs drive from Las Vegas) Dates are fixed, some of you can drive there on Friday and enjoy the views first, (free n easy) or if you prefer to come real early morning on Saturday and join the group for a morning hike (around 9 am, breakfast on your own) followed by  BBQ by the  scenic, rocky  stream to end the day's hike.
Sunday (6th) we'll do the scenic bus ride and  easy riverside hike and end the day with group pictures and goodbyes.
 
   For those that will be joining us for the first time, hotels recommended  are Cable Mountain Lodge & Cliffrose Lodge. They are right next to each other and we will meet at Cable Mountain Lodge pool area as our main meeting point. Both hotels have full kitchen or kitchenette, so you can prepare your own breakfast or small meals for your family. Check with hotel when you make your bookings.
 
   So start your hotel bookings for Friday November 4th or for just 1 night on Saturday.
Bring a BBQ dish to grill or a prepared dish to share for late lunch/early dinner for Saturday after the hike. BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGES for the whole trip. Only cutlery, plates and paper towels will be provided during the BBQ.
 Please note, there are nearby stores & restaurants if you need some last minute stuff. Check online at ZION NATIONAL PARK.
Bring a jacket and check weather for Zion National park prior to arrival.
